School of Liberal Arts of Macau University of Science and Technology emphasizes industry-academia collaboration and the cultivation of students' academic and practical abilities. It cooperates with a number of large institutions to provide students with diverse internship opportunities. This time, representatives from Sheraton Grand Macao and St. Regis Macao were invited to give internship lectures for SLA. Sheraton Grand Macao also invited the students to conduct corporate visits and experience learning. Mr. Frank Sanders, Vice President of Integrated Hotels of Sheraton Grand Macao and St. Regis Macao, delivered a speech to welcome the students of M.U.S.T. SLA and introduced the development of the corporation.

During the seminar, Vice President Sanders introduced in detail the corporate information and internship programs of Sheraton Grand Macao and St. Regis Macao, providing students with a clearer development direction for their internship and post-graduation path. The programs provided various positions suitable for students. There was also a Q&A session. Students actively asked questions, and the series of questions were answered by Mr. Kou Chon Fai, Faculty Secretary of School of Liberal Arts, and the corporate representatives.
In the corporate visit, the students experienced the operations of different departments of the corporation and understood more about the internship of relevant departments. Later, the students visited different types of hotel rooms, spas, restaurants and bars at the Sheraton Grand Macao and St. Regis Macao to gain an in-depth understanding of the hotel facilities. During the visit, students also received career planning consultation and advice from supervisors from different departments, thereby learned to formulate personal career plans.

Through this series of activities, students had a deeper understanding of related industries and a clearer direction for their future career development. The visit was also attended by Mr. Chon Fai Kou, Faculty Secretary of the School of Liberal Arts of Macau University of Science and Technology, Assistant Professor Suk Ha Chan, and heads of several internship departments.
