Prof. Aliana Leong. Ed.D, CHE, FGA, GG
Dean, School of Liberal Arts
With the rapid development of the university, and in line with the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the accelerated development of the Greater Bay Area, the university attaches more importance to the cultivation of local talents. To be in line with the development of the university, the School of Liberal Arts was officially established in March 2020.
The School of Liberal Arts will continue to offer evening and weekend Bachelor's degree programmes. There will be a more diverse professional diploma certificate and bachelor degree programmes in the future. Our school will strengthen cooperation with other academic units on our campus and actively enhance cooperation with internationally renowned institutions to create more opportunities for students to participate in international exchange programmes.
I believe that by adhering to the education philosophy of liberal arts education and with the joint efforts of all our colleagues, we will be able to cultivate more interdisciplinary talents with both theoretical knowledge and practical experiences.
On behalf of the faculty and teachers and students of the School of Liberal Arts, I would like to welcome you to become a part of our big family at Macau University of Science and Technology!
