Sponsored by the Tourism Office of the Macao S.A.R. Government and undertaken by the Macao Travel Agency Association, the 12th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Travel Expo) was held on April 26 to 28, 2024 at the Cotai Expo of the Venetian Macao. In order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between M.U.S.T. and mainland universities, SLA organized exchange students to participate in this Travel Expo.
The Travel Expo is the largest and only international tourism professional exhibition in Macao. It has strong professionalism and extensive influence. The participation in this event not only provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange students to gain an in-depth understanding of Macao's tourism industry, but also served as an important part of M.U.S.T.'s internationalized exchange. Over 30 exchange students from different institutions participated in this activity.
During the Travel Expo, the exchange students were able to gain a deeper understanding of the diversified development of Macao's tourism industry by visiting a variety of exhibitions of innovative tourism projects, professional seminars and interactive forums. This activity was successfully concluded, and the exchange students gained a lot. They all had a deeper understanding of Macao's tourism industry. In the coming semester, we believe that the exchange students will make full use of their time in Macao to experience multiculturalism, learn rich knowledge and enjoy their beautiful youth.
M.U.S.T. SLA will continue to proactively organize similar activities to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with mainland universities, enhance students' international vision and promote the internationalization process of the University.
