Professor Huw Dixon enjoys a high reputation in the international economics community and is well-known for his in-depth research on price behavior, inflation, and macroeconomic phenomena. During his visit to Macao, Professor Huw Dixon brought his latest research findings to shed light on the dynamics of price setting during Greece's economic crisis. The lecture focuses on Greece's price movements during the crisis, utilizing data from the Greek CPI as a foundation. The study reveals notable shifts in price-setting practices during the economic shock, with macroeconomic variables such as inflation and output growth playing a crucial role in determining the frequency and magnitude of price changes. The successful holding of this seminar promoted academic exchanges between teachers and students and broadened students' international horizons. We look forward to strengthening cooperation in the future and jointly producing more high-level academic outputs.
